Bolo con Robo

El pasado 14 de abril tuve el placer de ir a Sevilla con los señores de Fundación Robo, interesantísimo proyecto musical, a poner visuales en el concierto programado dentro del festival Zemos98. Un fin de semana de lo mas a gusto con Roberto, Joseba y Nacho, gracias tíos.
Long time I didn’t make visuals for a band but this time they call me from Fundación Robo and I couldn’t say anything but yes, also a little trip to Sevilla sounds great. Thank you guys.

moebius & fellini

Another comic is here. The Balde is in the streets again and this time we did a little tribute to the just passed away Moebius. Koldo, The Balde’s director, found a letter Federico Fellini wrote to Moebius and made the script of this comic to publish them together and make this little tribute. So here is a small conversation between those two genius “At a domain it isn’t life” as the title says. (originally published on two pages)
Oraingo honetan The Baldeko komikia Koldok pasatako gidoiarekin egin dut. Federico Fellinik eskutitza bat idatzi zion Moebiusi eta hori erabili dugu aitzaki komikia egin eta eskutitza eta komikia argitaratuz Moebiusi (eta Felliniri noski) omenaldi txiki bat egiteko, ez dugu Moebiusen marrazki berririk ikusiko… atx!

I sent a couple of skulls to Skull-A-Day blog and they recently appeared. The blog’s name say it all and it worth a visit if you like… guess what… skulls.
Skull-A-Day blogean, non egunero mota ezberdinetako buruhezurrak erakusten dituzten, kolaborazio asko jasotzen omen dute eta bidalitakoa argitaratzea kostatzen bazaie ere ezin nuen nire ekarpena egin gabe utzi.

A little draw I did with the marvelous Pentel brush pen, that deserves the fame it has. Actually I did too much work on digital, it’s more clean, no need for a good –so expensive– paper and, or course, the command-Z and the layers.

Txakurtxo potolo hau Pentel pintzel-idazluma frogatzen egin nuen, egia esan ez nau harritzen horrenbeste marrazkilarik erabiltzea mundu osoan zehar. Japoniar hauek oso trebeak dira pintzel munduan eta honekin benetazko pintzel baten antza gehien duen idazluma lortu dute, baina noski, tintontzirik ez duzu behar kartutxoak erabiltzen dituelako eta oso erosoa da edonon erabiltzeko.

I should draw with “real” material more often, it is a total diferent world.
Egia esateko Photoshop eta Wacom tableta grafiko bikotearekin oso erraza da digitalean erortzea, eta hala egiten dut nik, gehiegitxo ere, mundu analogikoa oso ezberdina baita.

live at nivel f

A little bit late but here it is a little report of the performance I did on january 27 at Nivel F, two months ago, yesss.
Bueno, hace ya unos meses, pero aquí va un pequeñoo reporte the aquel bolo.
Milesker Beruta argazkiengatik!

Nivel F is a great place we have here at Iruñea. It is a kind of totally underground place, since it has none of the legal or whatever requesites and papers they are supossed to have to do anything in this “city of licenses and taxes” that it is ours.

It was the first time I brought everything, the whole audio visual system: a flight case with all the computers, midi controlers, cables, proyector an so on, the portable screen I have and a couple of auto-amplified speakers (thank you funtsak) and a couple of feet and cables for them (thanks Tok! Audio).

Lehengoz ekipamendu guztia ni neuk eraman nuen, esperientzia berria, normalean eramaten ditudan trasto guztietaz aparte, proiektorea eta pantaila barne, soinurako ekipoa ere eraman nuen, bi kutxa (milesker jero!) eta haiendako oin eta kableak, beste lagun batek utzita.

Aparte de todo el cacharrerío habitual, Jero de Funtsak me dejo las cajas autoamplificadas y Josean de Tok! Audio me dejo los pies para las cajas y todo el cablerío. Gracias tiooooosss!

I really enjoyed this time, the people’s answer was great and all the post and previous staff went just perfect.

La verdad que el bolo fué super agradable, vino suficiente peña para estar contento y a la vez estuvimos en un ambiente bastante íntimo. Todos aguantaron como jabatos las partes mas duras y en general a todo el mundo le gusto bastante… subidón! je je je.

Mil gracias Mikel por todo, porque la verdad que pocas veces hay bolos como estos donde todo sale rodado de principio a fin.
Al final cuando vas a sitios “profesionales” la cosa tiende a liarse y cuando vas a alternativos va como la seda.

Canoren erretratua

Beno, katarroek pixkat “out” uzten zaituzte eta ez dago gogo handirik posteatzen ibiltzeko, baina bueltan naiz. The Baldeko beste zenbaki bat kaleratu da jada, eta bertan Harkaitz Canoren erretratu bat egin dut, beno, edo bi.

The Balde 62 is on the streets and online. This time I did a portrait of the basque writer Harkaitz Cano, or better said a couple of version of a portrait, or so.

Esan beharra daukat erabilitako Photoshopeko pintzelakin maitemindua nagoela, oso trazo naturala sortzen du bai marraren puntetan zein hertzeetan, ez da somatzen ohi den errepikapen afera hori. Jeisteko lotura uzten dizuet.

I fall in love with this photoshop brush, the result is so natural for me, no pattern like repetitions ond edges or ends of the trace. There you have it.
And yes, I’m fucking addicted to the textures… I’d have to rehab… but this brushes asked me for it, it’s not my fault… jeje

Eta hementxe prosezuan atera zen ideia bat, ez zuen Canorekin antzekorik eta kasu honetan zehatzago nahi nuen, baina interesgarria iruditu zitzaidan teknika hurrengo baterako,

And below and skecht it came out in the process, it doesn’t really look like the portrayed one and I wanted something more concrete for this time. Anyway it is an interesting way of using this brush playing with the pressure hard way.

children height meters – haur neurgailuak

                   

There are already some years that at eragin.com  we are doing a yearly children height meter for the San Sebastian city council. Here are two I drew, the mountain one is for this year and the rocket from two years ago. The holes are to put photos of diferent ages.
Donostiako udalerako neurgailu hainbat egin ditugu jada eragin.com-en. Nik marraztutako biak dituzue hemen, mendiena aurtengoa da eta espaziontzia 2010koa, oker ez banaiz.
